Richard D. House, 80 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. He was a Butler County native, son of the late Richard D. House Sr. and Doomie Oller House. Richard was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church, a U. S. Army Veteran and a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by two brothers L.D. and Remon House and one granddaughter Monica Embry. 

Richard D. House is survived by his wife of 56 years Nellie Erdine House of Morgantown, Ky; 2 sons Terrell R. House and wife Ramona of Morgantown, Ky. and Jerrell R. House of Morgantown, Ky.; daughter Barbara L. Cox and husband Scott of Morgantown, Ky.; 3 grandsons Jerrell D. House and wife Leila of Morgantown, Ky., Timothy Allen House and wife Estella of Morgantown, Ky. and Austin M. Cox of Morgantown, Ky.; 3 granddaughters Casie Brooke House of Morgantown, Ky., Allie M. Cox of Morgantown, Ky. and Aleigha M. Cox of Morgantown, Ky.; 2 great grandchildren; sister Arzilla Clark of Morgantown, daughter in- law Regina House of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 1:00pm with Bro. Jim McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2011, from 4:00pm – 8:00pm and Tuesday 8:00am until funeral time at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.jonesfuneralchapel.com
