Richard Alan "Rick" Dockery, 61, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Rick was born Saturday, November 16, 1957 in Butler County, KY to the late Lavelton and Pauline Moore Dockery. He was a member of Barnetts Lick Missionary Baptist Church and Cassia Lodge #272. Rick was a retired welding professor who took great pride in his students, taught them so much more than welding. He worked hard all his life and enjoyed working on his farm, golfing and spending time with his family. His daughters were his pride and joy and he was the best Pa to Lola and Ada. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Lola Harrison Dockery.

Richard Alan "Rick" Dockery is survived by wife Tammy Flener Dockery of Morgantown, KY; two daughters-Bridgette Dockery (Cody) of Morgantown, KY and Brooke Brown (Adam) of Morgantown, KY; two granddaughters-Lola Paige and Ada Marie.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Darryl Dockery officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. with Masonic services conducted by Cassia Lodge #272 at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will be held on Thursday 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
