Rev. Ricky C. Dockery

Rev. Ricky C. Dockery, 67 of Beaver Dam, KY passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on Thursday, September 3, 1953 in Butler County, KY to the late Estil and Airrie Henderson Dockery who survives. Ricky was a ordained minister since 1970 and was a member of Leach Chapel General Baptist Church. He was a retired carpenter and loved to hunt and watch Western's. Other than his father he is preceded in death by his mother in law Dessie Goodman.

Rev. Ricky C. Dockery is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Jewelyn Dockery of Beaver Dam, KY; one daughter Felicia Summers (David) of Beaver Dam, KY; two sons Richie Dockery (Georgina) of Beaver Dam, KY and Matthew Dockery (Kimberly) of Hartford, KY; mother Airrie Dockery of Morgantown, KY; six grandchildren Brandon Summers (Renee) of Morgantown, KY, Deserae Thompson (John) of Beaver Dam, KY, Dakota Dockery (Destiny) of Beaver Dam, KY, Ally Dockery of Beaver Dam, KY, Skylar and Sabastian Dockery of Hartford, KY; seven great grandchildren Hayden and Brody Summers of Morgantown, KY, Colebin Dockery, Kaylee Summers, Caylem Dockery, Maddox Summers and Jude Dockery all of Beaver Dam, KY; two step grandchildren Hannah and Caleb Caskey of Owensboro, KY; three siblings Jimmy Dockery (Ginger), Debbie Payton (Ray) and Sylvia Moran (Morris) all of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Zion Harmony Baptist Church Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 1:00pm with Bro. Sonny Whitley officiating. Burial will be held in the Zion Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Tuesday 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Zion Harmony Baptist Church.
