Recie Dee Renfrow, age 86 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Dee was born on Friday, December 11, 1936 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late Recil and Ruby Burden Embry. She was a member of Woodbury Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Dee loved spending time with her family, fishing and going to church. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter in law Judy Renfrow, one sister Jean Felty, two brothers Adril and David Embry and one brother in law James Barks. 

Recie Dee Renfrow is survived by her husband of 68 years JB Renfrow of Morgantown, KY; four children Danny Glen Renfrow (Darlene), Donald Wayne Renfrow, Ben Renfrow (Amber) and Angela Martin (James) all of Morgantown, KY; eight grandchildren Rebecca Jenkins, Daniel Renfrow, Garrett Renfrow, Jonathan Martin, Brian Martin, Hannah Renfrow, Chelsey Renfrow and Jameson Findley; four great grandchildren Chloe Jenkins, Jayden Jenkins, Brayden Renfrow and Holden Blanford; one sister Josephine Barks of Morgantown, KY; brother in law Ross Felty of Morgantown, KY and two sister in laws Genevieve Embry and Janice Embry both of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2:00pm with Bro. Murl Gray officiating. Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery where Garrett Renfrow, Jayden Jenkins, Jameson Findley, Jonathan Martin, Brian Martin and Daniel Renfrow will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 10:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
