Rebecca Ann "Becky" Cox

Rebecca Ann "Becky" Cox 70, of Bowling Green passed away Tuesday October 13, 2014 at The Medical Center. Becky was born October 29, 1943 in Warren Co. She was preceded in death by her parents Cyril and Earlene Carlock, and sister Regina Forshee.
Becky was co-owner of Red's Restaurant and appreciated all of the loyality of her wonderful customers, and was retired from Holley Carburetor, and Derby Underwear and also a member of Martha's Chapel Church. She was a very loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was a very dedicated person that took care of others and never met a stranger, she put others above herself especially her children and other family members. She was a proud graduate of Alvaton High School where she was a "Bluebird Cheerleader". She was raised and worked on her family farm and Carlocks Market in the Boyce Community. She was a very dedicated worker until she went to be with the Lord.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years Charles "Red" Cox, one daughter Sherry L. Belcher (Gary) of Smiths Grove, two sons David Cox (fiancée Kristie Beal) of Smith Grove, Chris Cox (Laura) of Bowling Green, Six sisters Geraldine Hester (late husband Royce), Jewell Cassady (late husband Doodle) both of Alvaton, Judy Thornton (Terry) and Debbie Pinson (late husband Curtis) all of Bowling Green, Elaine Williams (Braddie) of Scottsville and Lynn Brown (Jeff) of Alvaton, one brother Bud Carlock (Debbie) of Morgantown, KY. Three precious grandchildren Christina Cox Baader (Brandon) of Smiths Grove, Alexandria and Gabrielle Cox both of Murfreesboro, TN, one step grandson Tyler Potter of New Windsor, MD, one step granddaughter Laken Hunter of Bowling Green and one precious great granddaughter Emily Baader of Smiths Grove and a step great granddaughter Jacy Baader, sister-in-law Patricia Cox of Morgantown and brother-in-law Bro. Neal Forshee (Ann) of Louisville, and many special nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday October 17, 2014, 11:00 am at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday 2:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Bro. Neal Forshee will be officiating the funeral. Final resting place will be in Martha's Chapel Church Cemetery in Boyce, KY.
