Rayburn D. Grubb, age 88 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, February 12, 2024 at his residence. Rayburn was born on Wednesday, November 13, 1935 in the South Hill community of Butler County, KY to the union of the late Omer and Nora Andrews Grubb. He was a member of Richland Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Emerson Electric in Russellville, KY. Rayburn enjoyed woodworking and farming. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two grandsons Eric Young and Lucas Grubb; one step daughter Missy Hudnall and his siblings Quint, Carl, Bradley, Altha Carroll, Ruby Belilies, Lorene Pendley, Dean Ragland and a son in law Dennis Sorrels. 

Rayburn Grubb is survived by his wife Linda Ashby Grubb; five children Debbie Young (Kenneth), Caron Sorrels, Kerry Grubb (Betty), Kenny Grubb (Patty) and Pat Grubb (Kim); one stepson Marty Hudnall (Della); nine grandchildren Justin Young, Cristi Gills, Jermey Sorrels, Jon Givens, Ethan Grubb, Kenlea Grubb, Payton Flener, Brennan Grubb and Keagen Grubb; four step grandchildren Hannah Hudnall, Holden Hudnall, Aaron Hudnall and J.C. Embry; 8 great grandchildren and one sister Agnes Martin. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 11:00am with Bro. Butch Nash and Bro. Murl Gray officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery where Kerry, Kenny and Pat Grubb, Justin Young, Jon Givens and Marty Hudnall will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday 8:00am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
