Ray E. Spurgeon, 69 of Roundhill, KY died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016 at his residence.

The Hohenwald, TN native was a son of the late Claude and Wilma Pope Spurgeon. He was a self employed contruction worker.

His survivors include his five sons, Paul Spurgeon (Tonia), Jimmy Spurgeon (Tammy), Ricky Spurgeon, Ryan Spurgeon (Danielle), Joe Spurgeon (Billie Jo); 15 grandchildren; Sara Garrett, Nick Spurgeon, Keri Spurgeon, Kayla Spurgeon, Ashley Payne, Tabitha Spurgeon, Daniel Spurgeon, Gabe Spurgeon, Madison Spurgeon, Nevaeh Spurgeon, Gavin Basham, Gage Spurgeon, Karter Parrish, K’Leigh Parrish, Juli Anna Parrish, two great grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Spurgeon and Patsy Dash; one brother, Lanny Spurgeon; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. -2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
