Raven Durbin

Raven Noelle Durbin, 18 of Roundhill, Kentucky passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday, March 18, 2012. She was a Warren County native, daughter of Willie Durbin and Ginny Clark Lockhart. She was a member of Church of Christ of Roundhill, a senior at Butler County High School, honorary member of Morgantown Fire Dept. and Bear Creek Fire Dept. Raven loved her family, people and friends and she never met a stranger. Raven bravely fought her battle of leukemia for two and half years. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Billy Durbin. Expression of sympathy may be made to the St Jude Memorial Brick Foundation or Hospice of Southern Kentucky 5872 Scottsville Rd. Bowling Green Ky. 42104.

Raven Noelle Durbin is survived by her mother Ginny Lockhart husband Scott of Roundhill, Ky.; father Willie Durbin of Roundhill, Ky. ; brothers Mason, Jaren and Hayden Durbin all of Roundhill, Ky. ; half sister Tori Highbaugh of Brownsville, Ky; maternal grandparent Dickie and Darlene Clark of Roundhill, Ky; paternal grandmother June Durbin of Roundhill, Ky.; step grandparent Clarine Lockhart of Smiths Grove, Ky.; maternal great grandparent Pauline Clark of Roundhill, Ky. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday March 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Kevin Morrow officiating. Visitation Tuesday March 20, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at the Jones Funeral Chapel. So sorry for ur loss. Raven was a wonderful and Beautiful young lady. Her could always brighten a day. She will truly be missed.
Ginny--We are keeping you and your family in our prayers as we know your heart breaks, but we have a hope that we will again see Raven in a better place.
We are thinking and praying for you. She is finally pain free and walking those streets of gold now.
So sorry for your loss. She was a fighter to the end. Very beautiful girl any time I saw here she always had a smile on her face.

Ive known Raven since we were 3 years old. We would play everyday and just laugh with each other all the time. I knew once we started to get to know each other that we would always be best friends. I know she was a very bright beautiful young lady and everyone loved her very much. She never not knew anyone. She always had a smile on her face. Raven I love you very much and you and your spirit will always be in my heart!

Prayers for the family. Ginny, we are thinking of you. I know this is hard for you and the family. Raven was a sweet gal. I know mom enjoyed her as a student. Just keep thinking she is no longer suffering and Robert is there to keep her company until you can be reunited.
To the entire Durbin family, our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of sorrow. We will sure miss her smile at the high school.May God be with you all.
