Ralph Jackson Daugherty

Ralph Jackson Daugherty, 79, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green Ky. Ralph was born April 15, 1936 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Omer and Ida Mae Flener Daugherty. He was a trustee and member at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 20 years of service United States Air Force, teacher at the Bowling Green Vocational School and farmer. Ralph is preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Perry Daugherty; one son, Steven Thomas Daugherty and two brothers, Clifford and Glen Daugherty. 
Ralph Jackson Daugherty is survived by his wife, Shirley Daugherty of Morgantown, Ky.; seven children Deborah Hoffman (husband Mark) of Westfield, Massachusetts; Jack Daugherty (wife Danielle) of Westfield, Indiana; Ryan Daugherty (wife Darla) of Morgantown, Ky; Rick Collins of Tacoma, Washington; Rachel Gilpin (husband John) of Bowling Green, Ky., Tim Allen (wife Nanette) of Bowling Green, Ky. and Randy Allen (wife Mary) of Hartford, Ky.; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Wednesday May 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Gerald Geary officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery where military rights will be presented by AM Vets Post #117. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
