Plina Phelps Johnson, 68, of Roundhill, KY, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Plina was born February 22, 1949, in Butler Co. KY, to the late Ebon and Lena Whittinghill Phelps. She was retired from Delta Faucet. Other than her parents, Plina is preceded in death by her husband, R.D. Johnson, two sons; William Afton Beaven and William James Beaven and two brothers; R.C. Phelps and Ebon Phelps Jr.
Plina is survived by four daughters; Harriet Bratcher (Thomas Carather) of Morgantown, KY, Cina Shiflet (Mark) of Dodge City KS, Lena West (John White) of Morgantown, KY and Delia Melton (Dale) of Roundhill, KY, one sister, Ida Howe, of Lexington, KY, 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
