Phyllis J. Embry, 78, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Friday, September 20, 2019, at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. Phyllis was born June 8, 1941, in McCracken Co., Ky., to the late Paul and Jerlene Lee (Jerri) Jackson. Phyllis was a member of Christian Home Church of Christ and past president of the Butler Co. Arthritis Foundation. She was Registered Nurse, retiring as Plant Nurse of Sumitomo. Phyllis Loved to travel, Play softball and spend time with family and friends. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Renee Quinn and one grandson, Luke Embry.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 58 years, Billy Joe Embry, of Morgantown, Ky., two sons; Todd Embry (Angie) of Morgantown, Ky. and Grant Embry (Mieke) of Athens, Al., seven Grandchildren, six Greatgrandchildren, one sister, Debbie Adams (Hines) of Greenville, NC., one brother, Gary Jackson (Brenda) of Paducah, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 23, 2019, at 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Paul Smithson and Bro. Nick Greenman officiating. Burial will be in the Christian Home Cemetery. Clay Embry, Jacob Moran, Sam Moran, Adam Preston, Alan Felts, Jacob Hornback, and Denton Cable will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 22, 2019, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Monday, September 23, 2019, from 8:00 AM until funeral time at 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
