Phillip Glen Drake Jr., age 60 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at his residence. Phillip was born on Monday, May 21, 1962 in Butler County, KY to the late Philip Drake and Velma C. Proctor Embry who survives. He was of the Baptist Faith, he enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and loved his dogs. Other than his father he is preceded in death by one nephew Kevin Burden and one great niece Faithlynn Burden. 

Phillip Glen Drake Jr. is survived by his long time companion Beth Henderson of Morgantown, KY; one daughter Tosha Blacklock (Jordan) of Bowling Green, KY; one grandson Caliber Blacklock of Bowling Green, KY; mother Velma Embry (Damon) of Caneyville, KY; two sisters Fran Richey (Curtis) of Greenville, KY and Angie West (Harold) of Morgantown, KY; two brothers Gary Drake (Debra) of Jackson, KY and Brian Drake (Rhonda) of Morgantown, KY and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Harold West officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 10:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Butler County Animal Shelter P.O.
