Paula Joan Hood, age 65 of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Born on Wednesday, November 9, 1960, in Warren County, KY, Paula's life was a testament to the power of nurturing and devotion.

Paula was the daughter of the late Troy B. and Margaret "Toots" Hall Evans. 

She is survived by her daughters, Katie Flener (Kurt) and Kelsey Lee (Zack), both of Morgantown, KY. Her legacy continues through her five grandchildren, Layton and Weston Flener, and Walker, Holden, and Gage Lee, all of whom brought immense joy and purpose to her life. Paula's sisters, Penny Gooch and Peggy Phelps, both of Morgantown. Her niece, Jennifer Kurfiss (Jeff), and great-nephews, Hayden and Gunner Hodge all of Morgantown, KY. Paula also leaves behind many special cousins.

Her interests were a reflection of her appreciation for beauty and history. Paula was an avid reader, she enjoyed traveling, antiques and working with her flowers. Above all, Paula's grandsons were the center of her universe. She invested her time and energy in their lives, supporting them in every endeavor and celebrating their achievements. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Welcome Fellowship Church on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 1:00pm with Bro. Lawson Embry officiating. A Time of Gathering will be held from 10:00am until Celebration of Life at 1:00pm at Welcome Fellowship Church.
