Paul W. Porter, 75 of Quality, KY passed away Wednesday October 28, 2020 at the Alive Hospice Center in Nashville, TN. Paul was born December 10, 1944 in the Penrod Community of Muhlenberg County, KY to the late Hester and Novie Ferrell Porter. He was a member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Emmerson Electric. Paul loved to go to yard sales and was a NASCAR fan. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth Ann Huff Porter; one sister Barbara Grubb; one brother Johnny Gayle Porter and his grandparents Will and Myrtle Ferrell. 

Paul W. Porter is survived by his wife of twenty five years Kathy Shoemake Porter of Quality, KY; step son Corey Shoemake of Russellville, KY; granddaughter Erin Shoemake of Bowling Green, KY; one sister Brenda Kirby of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday October 31, 2020 at 1:00pm with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating. Burial will be held in the Mt Zion Cemetery where Eddie Arnold, Jarrod Kirby, Tony and Corey Shoemake, Craig Collins and Tom Blancett will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Saturday October 31, 2020 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt Zion Cemetery Fund 338 Grubb Rd Lewisburg, Ky 42256.
