Patty Jean Deweese, 79, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Patty was born July 31, 1935 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Leburn and Ella Jane Douglas Renfrow and was the wife of the late Dallas Deweese. She was of the Baptist faith, avid Pittsburg Steelers fan, loved yard sales and visiting the Morgantown Mission. Patty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Danny Deweese; one brother, Joe Renfrow; three sisters, Pansy Gans, Elsie Deweese and Jonell Johnson; and one step-brother, Odell Deweese.
Patty Jean Deweese is survived by three daughters: Linda Wojick (husband Ron "Yankee") of Bowling Green; Sandy Karcher (husband Steve) of Louisville; and Bonnie Martin (husband Rodney) of Roundhill; two sons, Jeff Deweese of Morgantown and Dallas Eugene Deweese (fiancée Jenny Boyd); one brother, Rolane "Little Man" Renfrow (wife Emma Jean) of Illinois; seven granddaughters - Kristi Parrish, Heather Parrish-Morris, Laura West, Leslie Porter, Kati Karcher, Abby Karcher and Sierra Deweese; 7 great-grandchildren - Madison Parrish, Macy West, Gabby Renfrow, Alex Morris, Mary-Morgan Morris, Tatum Schott and Leo Porter and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Tuesday May 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Threlkel Cemetery.
