Patricia W. Forbes, 71, of Provo, Ky. passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born in Provo, Ky. on January 18, 1949  to the late Cecil and Ruby Pendley Wilson. She was a member of Monticello Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a retired truck driver and a secretary at the Morgantown Housing Authority, a graduate of Western Kentucky University where she earned several degrees. Patricia enjoyed reading, collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, spending time with her grandchildren, going to their ballgames and taking them to school. Also, gathering with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers David and Darrell Wilson and sister Deloris Wilson.

Patricia is survived by her husband of  52 years Kenneth Forbes; son Michael Forbes (Donna); daughters Jennifer Stovall (Clay) and Janie Embry (Josh); grandchildren Sebastian Lester, Hunter Wilson (Kassie), Alexandria Embry, Dylan Embry, Austin Forbes, Rayne Stovall, Sarah Grubb and Landon Forbes; one great grandchild Grayson Wilson; sister Melba Holman (Jim) and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the directives concerning large gatherings, we are abiding by rules set forth by the Governor of Kentucky concerning the health and well being of our staff and the families we serve. 

There will be a drive thru visitation on Wednesday, April 22 starting at 1pm at Monticello Missionary Baptist Church with a private graveside service to follow.  Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
