Patricia Ann DeMay

Patricia Ann DeMay, affectionately known as Pat to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Morgantown Care & Rehab in Morgantown, Kentucky. Born on March 20, 1946 in Austin MN. Pat's life was one of service and care, having dedicated over 50 years to her profession as a Registered Nurse. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Georgetown, Kentucky.

She is now rejoicing with the family who went before her, reunited in love and joy. We like to imagine her laughing again, telling stories, and spending time with her beloved dog Katie, by her side. She loved to laugh and had a special gift for making others laugh, often through her stories and warm sense of humor. Music brought her joy and it was a constant presence in her life, just like laughter-something she believed was meant to be shared. Pat's friendly demeanor and adventurous spirit were the hallmarks of her personality. She approached life with an open heart and a curious mind. Pat also enjoyed doing stitchery, working puzzles, entertaining friends and she loved her cat Lena.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Helen Koenig Mullenbach; her siblings, Agnes O'Connell and William Mullenbach; and her daughter-in-law, Julie DeMay. Pat's legacy continues through her loving children, Christopher DeMay (Molly) of Reno, NV, Scott DeMay of Portland, OR, Heidi DeMay of Morgantown, KY, Steve Cory (Casha) of Rohnert Park, CA, and Kristen DeMay of Reno, NV. Her grandchildren, Kamryn, Cruz, Luka, Kaz, Tyler, and Cecelia. Pat is also survived by her siblings, Sue Warmka of Grand Meadow, MN, Joyce Bergan (Kim) of Grinnell, IA, Paul Mullenbach (Karla) of Rochester, MN, and Randy Mullenbach of Boerne, TX, along with several nieces and nephews.

All services are private and under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel. Please share any photos, memories, condolences or light a candle in memory of Pat at www.jonesfuneralchapel.com. Jones Funeral Chapel is honored to be serving the Patricia Ann DeMay.
