Oval Ray Brooks, 69 of Louisville, Ky. passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at the University Hospital. Mr. Brooks was born October 7, 1943 in Butler County, to the late Wilbur and Beulah Bryant Brooks. Mr. Brooks was a Taxi Cab Driver who loved bargain shopping and music. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wilbur B. Brooks Jr. and three sisters, Margie Hack, Marie Elliott and Ruby Downs.

Oval Brooks is survived by one son: Clinton Brooks and wife Pam of Elizabethtown, Ky.; one brother: Clifton Brooks and wife Madge of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, Monday, July 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with Bro. David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodcock Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Monday 8:00 a.m. until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
