Osco Bratcher

Osco Lee Bratcher, 76 of Morgantown, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mr. Bratcher was born March 10, 1936 in Butler County, KY to the late Owen and Vena Beasley Bratcher. He was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Local 40 Boilermakers, and a Kentucky Colonel. He was a self-employed businessman and farmer. Osco was an avid UK fan and loved his old cars. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mae Burden. Osco Lee Bratcher is survived by his wife of 52 years Layvonne Beasley Bratcher of Morgantown, Ky.; daughter Colleen (Bill) Phelps of Morgantown, Ky.; 3 sons Bruce (Angela) Bratcher, Richie Bratcher, and Chad Bratcher all of Morgantown, Ky.; granddaughters Tosha (Jordan) Blacklock of Bowling Green, Ky., and Haley Bratcher of Morgantown, Ky.; 2 sisters Vivian Bratcher of Shepherdsville, Ky. and Alice Casey of Morgantown, Ky.; 2 brothers Carl (Iva) Bratcher and Randell (Pam) Bratcher all of Morgtantown, Ky.; mother in law Minnie Beasley of Morgantown, Ky.; sister in law Diana (Don) Ray of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, June 22, 2012 at 1:00pm with Bro. Gary Embry and Bro. Josh Scott officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, June 21, 2012 2:00pm - 8:00pm and Friday 8:00 am until funeral time at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.jonesfuneralchapel.com.
