Omie Mae Kimmel, 72  of Morgantown passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at the  Kindred Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a Butler County native, daughter of the late Clido and Evie Bingham Pendley and wife of the late Marshall Kimmel. Omie was a homemaker and loved to quilt. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.  

Omie is survived by three children; Elbert D. Kimmel and wife Gayla of Morgantown,
Angela Bratcher and husband Bruce of Morgantown, Troy Kimmel and wife Kimberly of Morgantown and her companion J.B. McKinney of Morgantown;
Grandchildren; Brandi Kimmel of Shelbyville, Tn. Matthew Kimmel and wife Elizabeth of Morgantown, Tosha Blacklock and husband Jordan of Bowling Green,
Haley Bratcher of Morgantown, Sadie Shiann Kimmel of Morgantown, Brandon Kimmel of Morgantown, Kallie Mae Kimmel of Morgantown;  two Great-Grandchildren Julian Marshall Kimmel of Morgantown, Jenelle Kimmel of Morgantown; Three brothers Curtis Pendley of Morgantown, Glen Pendley and wife Peggy of Morgantown, Odell Pendley of Missouri; Four Sisters Dorothy Caudill, Tennessee, Lucy Pendley and husband Wilbur of Morgantown, Annie Willoughby  and husband J.B. of Beaver Dam, Minnie Johnson of Russellville; several nieces nephews, great nieces and great nephews    
                   
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Joseph Henderson officiating at Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown. Burial will be in the Sandy Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 21, 2012, from 11:00am to 9:00pm and Saturday 8:00am  until funeral time at the Smith Funeral Home.
