Nyla Faye Dalton, age 82 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 at her residence. Faye was born on Monday, March 3, 1941 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late Shirley Jake and Margaret Cox Flener. She was a member of Morgantown First Baptist Church and she retired from the Department of Human Resources. Faye enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one sister Joyce Mauzy and two brother in laws Charlie Mauzy and Don Brown. 

Nyla Faye Dalton is survived by her husband of 64 years Johnny Dalton of Morgantown, KY; one daughter Lisa Jenkins (Dwayne) of Morgantown, KY; one son Philip Jay Dalton (Angie) of Morgantown, KY; four grandchildren Justin Jenkins of Bowling Green, KY and Nicholas Jenkins of Morgantown, KY, Sydney Cannon (Travis) of Alvaton, KY and Tessa Dalton of Morgantown, KY; seven great grandchildren Emersyn & Sutton Jenkins of Morgantown, KY, Aubrey, Aria & Axel Cannon of Alvaton, KY and Reagan & Remi Cessna of Morgantown, KY; two sisters Joie Brown of Evansville, KY and Della Henderson (Troy) of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 2:00pm with Bro. Greg Wallace officiating. Burial will be held in the Hill Haven Memory Garden. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
