Novie "Niva" Mae Woosley, 89 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, September 12, 2016, at her residence. Novie was born March 21, 1927, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Luther and Loney D. Willis Haynes and wife of the late Frank Woosley. She was a member of Bee Springs Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two sisters Nola Goodall and Ola Phelps.
Novie "Niva" Mae Woosley is survived by one son Dennis Woosley of Morgantown, Ky.; four daughters Shirley Keen and husband Gabe, Margie Wilkerson and husband Jim, Josephine Jones and husband Paul and Elaine Keown and husband William all of Morgantown, Ky.; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Bee Springs Missionary Baptist Church Friday, September 16, 2016, at 12:00 pm with Bro. Malcolm Doyle officiating.
Burial will be in the Milligan Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016, from 2:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Friday, September 16, 2016, from 9:00 am until funeral time at 12:00 pm at the Bee Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
