Horse Branch- Norman Gene Ferguson, 83, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab in Beaver Dam. He was born in Grayson County, Kentucky on February 27, 1940, son of the late Thomas Woodrow and Jennie Whitehead Ferguson.

Norman was a retired truck driver and mechanic. He also served as a Deputy Sheriff and Constable in Ohio County. He also served on Dundee Fire Department.

He was preceded in death also by his infant brother James Edward Ferguson and a sister Imogene Ferguson Maxfield.

Survivors include his son Geary Gene Ferguson (Fredia); 2 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 1 nephew; 2 nieces.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Glennie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
