Norma "Dottie" Young, 91, passed away Sunday, September 3rd at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. She was born on August 7, 1926 in Butler County to the late Isom Henderson and Corda Ann Phelps Henderson. Norma worked as a clerk in the Thompson Grocery and the Ed Smith store. She was a member of the Cool Springs General Baptist for 70-plus years. She was an avid quilter and loved to study genealogy. Norma was preceded in death by husband H.T. Young; three brothers - Orville, Justus & George Henderson; one sister - Goren Phelps

Norma is survived by one sister - Wavie Fishburn of Morgantown; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown Kentucky.
