Nell Shelton Harrison, 86 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday December 5, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Nell was born July 30, 1929 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Floyd and Lillian Grayson Shelton and wife of the late Herold John Harrison. She was a member of Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church, former owner of Harrison Grocery, postal clerk, homemaker and known as "Nanny" to many. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by three brothers Guy, Raymond and James Shelton and three sisters Margie Shelton, Virginia Shrull and Winona Shrull.
Nell Shelton Harrison is survived by two daughters Patty Glass and husband Lowell of Morgantown, Ky. and Jill Woodrome of Bowling Green, Ky.; five grandchildren Lori Glass Cardwell and husband Jeff, Jonathan Glass and wife Melissa, Deana Jo Tomes and husband Brandon, Amber Le McKee and Richelle Woodrome Shoemake and husband Zac; six great grandchildren Kaylyn Cardwell McKinney and husband Nathan, Kassidy Cardwell, Blake and Jenna Tomes and Lily and Gracyn Glass; one brother Reggie Shelton and wife Joyce of Owensboro, Ky. and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many cherished friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday December 8, 2015 at 1:00pm with Bro. David Daugherty officiating. Burial will be in the Huntsville Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday December 7, 2015 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm  and Tuesday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
