Naomi B. Link, 89 of Bowling Green, KY passed away Saturday August 28, 2021 at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Naomi was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1932 in the Leonard Oak Community of Butler County to the late Albert and Elma Jane Sublett West. She was a member of the Leonard Oak General Baptist Church and Nashville Song Writers Association. Naomi was a school teacher in a one room school house for many years and a homemaker. She was a distinguished song writer and wrote many beautiful poems. Naomi loved and enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing cards, board games, laughing and spending time with her family. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter Cheryl Avelar; three brothers Rufus, Alston and James West and five sisters Alta Martin, Etta Cox, Gladys Barks, Novice Johnson and Artie Marie West.

Naomi B. Link is survived by her husband of 67 years Harry F. Link of Bowling Green, KY; three children Anita Manning of Bowling Green, KY, Lt Col Fred H. Link and wife Mi Na of Bonaire, GA and Penny Cannon of Bowling Green, KY; son in law Marvin Avelar and wife Alexandra of Welchs Creek, KY; 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at the Ridgeview Cemetery on Wednesday September 1, 2021 at 11:00am with Bro. Jewell Martin officiating. Burial will be held in the Ridgeview Cemetery.
