Nancy Jane Lindsey, 83 of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday April 3, 2020 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Nancy was born May 30, 1936 in Butler County, KY to the late Wood and Martha Phelps Johnson and wife of the late Jasper "JC" Lindsey. She was a member of Morgantown Community Church and retired from  Kellwood. Nancy was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, swinging on the porch, camping and fishing. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one granddaughter Cheryl Embry Shephard; one great grandson Marcus Barks, two sisters Mary Bannon and Meda Brown and two brothers Bill and LJ Johnson.

Nancy Jane Lindsey is survived by three daughters Elizabeth Lindsey of Morgantown, KY, Melissa Lindsey Embry (Barry) of Morgantown, KY and Debbie Lindsey Lee (Tony) of Morgantown, KY; Bruce Lindsey (Sharon) of Morgantown, KY, JC Lindsey Jr (Charlotte) of Morgantown, KY and Robert Lindsey (Teresa) of Morgantown, KY; three sisters Sarah Skaggs of Brownsville, KY, Barbara Hatcher of Morgantown, KY and Margie Hubbard of Bowling Green, KY; two brothers Sonny Johnson (Janette) of Morgantown, KY and Wayne Johnson of Morgantown, KY and several grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

For the health and Safety of the families we serve we are staying in compliance by the directives set forth by the Governor  of Kentucky and CDC recommendations. A drive thru visitation will take place on Wednesday April 8, 2020 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel with a private  graveside service at Hill Haven Memory Garden with Bro.
