Nadine Elizabeth Runner, 93, of Louisville, died Saturday, February 9, 2013 at her home.She moved to Louisville in 1943 and worked as a riveter in World War II at Curtis-Wright.

Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Runner; granddaughter, Lisa Needham; and a great-grandson, Eric.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Sherrard, Sandra Joiner and Myrna Gibbs; three grandchildren, Joe Sherrard (Robin), Ronnie Conn, and Beth Schildknecht (Chuck); seven great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Tamara, Jaci, Alex, Tony, Holly and Bayly; and four great-great-grandchildren, Eric, Aiden, Damien and Carson.

Her visitation will be noon-6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. From 5-6 p.m. will be a time for friends and family to share joyful memories of Nadine.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Christopher Reeve Spinal Cord Injury and Paralysis Foundation.
