Mildred P. ‘Mickey’ (Pendley) Kirby

Mildred P. ‘Mickey’ (Pendley) Kirby, 70, of Bowling Green passed away May 28, 2018 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Butler County native was born December 24, 1947 to the late Vernon Paul and Rachel Susan (Childress) Pendley. She was also preceded in death by a son, Monty Kirby and sister, Pansy Kessinger. She was employed by Holley Carburetor, Western Kentucky University, DESA, and International Paper. She was a loving Nanny and Mother who would do anything for her children and grandchildren. She was happy as long as her children and grandchildren were happy.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Howard F. Kirby; daughters, Belinda Staten (Scott) and Melinda Kirby (Jason Dearing); son, Frankie Kirby, Christopher Kirby, and Austin Kirby (Ariel); special grandsons, Christian and Calieb Kirby; grandchildren, Tashia Kirby, Erin Kirby, Jacob Staten (Ashley), Heather Adler, and Ashley Adler; sisters, Bettie Phelps and Jean Thompson (Stewart); brothers, Harrison Pendley (Delphia), and Dallas Pendley (Kathy); and several nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday with visitation from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. Inurnment will take place in Friendship Community Cemetery.
