 Merlyn Marie Francis, 96 of Quality, Kentucky passed away Sunday January 5, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Merlyn was born February 22, 1923 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Herschel and Athna Warren Barrow and wife of the late Verlin Francis.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a mental health employee at the Madison State Hospital in Madison, Indiana. Merlyn loved horses and all animals, flower gardening and the outdoors and was a avid reader. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by three sisters Gladys Oakes, Joyce Barrow and Lottie Barrow and one brother Wayland Barrow.

Merlyn Francis is survived by one sister in law Yvonne Langford Barrow of Quality, Ky and several nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday January 8, 2019 at 1:00pm with Speaker James Allen Minton officiating. Burial will be held in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 8, 2019 from 12:00pm until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
