Melody L. Henderson, 35 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Melody was born December 12, 1977, in Butler County to Roger D. and Beverly A. Tomes Henderson who survives. She was a member of Barnetts Lick Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a grandfather Glenn R. Tomes and grandparents C.B. and Tine Henderson.
Melody L. Henderson is survived by her parents Roger and Beverly Henderson of Morgantown, Ky.; brother Chris Henderson and wife Julie of Morgantown, Ky.; grandmother Bonnie Tomes of Morgantown, Ky.; 1 nephew Jason Henderson of Morgantown, Ky.; 3 nieces Clarissa Henderson, Jade Steele and Megan Steele all of Morgantown, Ky.; 1 great nephew Hunter Steele of Morgantown, Ky. and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, September 6, 2013 at 2:00pm. Burial will be in the Evans Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm
