Maxine M. Duncan Givens, 88,  of Louisville, Ky. Loving Mother and friend to all her children, Grandchildren, and friends passed from this life on August 21, 2016, to be with her Heavenly Father.
She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Louisville, KY. Born February 14, 1928, to Veachel and Vadie Elizabeth Duncan in Butler Co, KY. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Forrest O. Givens; brother, Darrel Duncan; sister, Waneda Hunter.

She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Payne (Larry); Hila Barker(Randy); sons, Donald Givens(Linda); Doyle Givens(Debbie); and stepson, Troy Givens(Mayetta); 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Geraldine Johnson; and brothers, Simpson and Kenneth Duncan.
Maxine was a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Visitation at Evergreen Funeral Home, Louisville, KY Wednesday, August 24, 2016, 3pm-8pm (EST);
 Funeral Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Union Missionary Baptist Church, Morgantown, KY. 
Visitation  11:00am- 1:00pm (CST) at Union Missionary Church, with funeral service to follow.

Burial at Union Cemetery. Arrangements are under the directions of Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown,  Ky.
