Maxine Johnson Willoughby, 74, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on April 13, 1944 to the late Frank Johnson and Lorene Deweese Johnson.  Maxine was a seamstress at Brownsville Manufacturing.  She was a member of Temple Hill Church and loved to garden and sew.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Billy Johnson; sisters Aline Phelps and Kathleen Johnson.

Maxine is survived by two sons Walker Embry of Morgantown and Glindle Jones of Morgantown; granddaughter Savannah Jones of Bowling Green; sisters Jerlene Wilkerson and Anna Shepherd; several nieces and nephews and companion Bobby Poole of Morgantown.

Funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 2pm with Bro. J.B. Miller officiating.  Burial will be in the Peyton Phelps Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17   from 10am until time of funeral service at 2pm  Smith Funeral Home.
