Mary "Louise" Hammers Clark

Mary "Louise" Hammers Clark, 90, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on March 16, 1929 to the late E. Silas and Florine Hunt Hammers.  Mary "Louise" was a member of Big Muddy Baptist Church.  She was a former manager at the Dollar General Store, retired from the Butler County Schools Food Service, was a member of the Singing Seniors and loved to do a lot of fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Exel Clark; three sons Danny, Tommy and Roger Clark; a host of brothers and sisters-in-law.

Mary "Louise" is survived by her daughters Linda Pendley of Morgantown and Alice Phelps (Bobby) of Morgantown; four grandchildren John Pendley (Emily) of Scottsville, Robert Pendley (Gina) of Georgia, Jeff Phelps of Morgantown, Misty Williams of Morgantown; eight great grandchildren Chis Pendley (Holly) of Bowling Green, Lori Pendley of Scottsville, Alice Pendley of Georgia, Brooklyn & Braiden Martin of Morgantown, Elizabeth, Nathan and Jackson Phelps of Russellville; one step great granddaughter Shelby Porter of Scottsville; two step great great grandchildren Jayden & Gavin Morgan of Scottsville.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 20 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Forrest officiating. Burial will follow in the Viles Cemetery.  Visitation will begin on Sunday, May 19 from 3-8pm and on Monday from 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
