Mary Jane Embry White, 98 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday August 28, 2015 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. Mary was born on Thursday May 24, 1917 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Herman and Laura Ellen Daugherty Embry and wife of the late Everett White. She was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Vergie Ilean Parker and two grandsons David Leon and Kerry Allen McKinney.
Mary Jane Embry White is survived by two daughters Betty White Cook husband Darrell of Morgantown, Ky. and Annette Coody husband Keith of Rogers Arkansas; two sons Justus "Jay" White wife Shirley of South Haven Mississippi and Roy Everett White wife Sarah of Murray, Ky.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Wednesday September 2, 2015 at 2:00pm with Bro. Gene Garner officiating. Burial will be in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 2, 2015 from 10:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
