Mary E. Givens age 90 of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Butler County, Ky., on May 26, 1930 to the late John and Hazel Campfield Miller. Mary loved gardening, word finds, and taking care of and spending time with her family and friends. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sons Marvin and Michael Givens, 4 brothers Charles and Richard Miller and 2 infant brothers, 1 sister Obie Embry.
Mary E. Givens is survived by her husband of 73 years Willis Givens of Morgantown, Ky., 1 daughter Eunice Fishburn of Morgantown, Ky., 2 sons Donald Givens and wife Anna of Morgantown, Ky., and Kenneth Givens and wife Mary of Morgantown, Ky., 2 grandchildren William Givens and wife Jennifer of Morgantown, Ky., and Josh Givens and wife Heather of Bowling Green, Ky., 4 great grandchildren Taylor and Bradyen Givens of Bowling Green, Ky., and Emma and Lucas Givens of Morganown, Ky., 1 sister Ruth Shaw of spottsville, Ky., and several neices and nephews.
In light of the current health and safety risk the Givens family has requested that all services be privately held at the Jones Funeral Chapel with private burial in the Union Cemetery.
