Martin C. Porter, age 89 passed away Tuesday, May 17 2022 at the Heartford House in Owensboro, KY. Martin was born on Sunday, November 27, 1932 in Cromwell, KY to the union of the late Fred D. and Audrey Taylor Porter. He was a member of Green River Missionary Baptist Church, a retired Post Master at the Post Office in Cromwell, KY and loved farming and woodworking. Other than his parents, Martin is preceded in death by one son, Martin C. Porter Jr., brothers; Allen, Jack, Durwood and Virgil, and Sisters; Ornonia, Margie, Nera Mae and Udeyne.

Martin is survived by his wife of 70 years, Alice E. McKenney Porter; one grandson John Andrew Porter (Kim); one great grandson Broderick Porter and several nieces and nephews.
