Marse Lindsey, 79 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his residence. Marse was born on Wednesday March 4, 1942 in Butler County, KY to the late Oval and Abaline Cardwell Lindsey. He attended Belmont General Baptist Church and was a farmer. Marse enjoyed taking care of his cattle, hunting and fishing. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one grandchild Dawson Wesley; great grandchildren Luke and Olivia King; two brothers Bobby and Billie Lindsey and one sister Diann Elms.

Marse Lindsey is survived by his wife of 57 years Ida Amos Lindsey of Morgantown, KY; four children Brenda Williams of Bowling Green, KY, Mike Lindsey (Stacy) of Bowling Green, KY, Robyn Vincent (Chuck) of Rochester, KY and Tammie Wesley (Rob) of Franklin, KY; nine grandchildren Justin "Kit" Williams of Montpelier, Vermont, Ryan Lindsey (Maura) of Morgantown, KY, Lyndsie King (Mark) of Morgantown, KY, Emily Cogburn (Matt) of Morgantown, KY, Lennox, Rex and Autumn Wesley of Franklin, KY, Will Faulkner of Bowling Green, KY and Travis Vincent and wife Becky of Morgantown, KY; six great grandchildren Ava and Vivi Lindsey, Aubree Morgan, Victoria King, Cainan and Isaac Vincent all of Morgantown, KY; two sisters Jonell Johnson (Vessie) and Betty Phelps both of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Belmont General Baptist Church Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 1:00pm with Bro. T.J. Howard officiating. Burial will be held in the Minton Cemetery where Rob Wesley, Chuck Vincent, Justin "Kit" Williams, Ryan Lindsey, Mark King and Matt Cogburn will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00pm and Wednesday 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Belmont General Baptist Church.
