Marlon Tarrence, 83, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. Mr. Tarrence was born August 31, 1929, in Butler Co. to the late Millard and Myrtle Willis Tarrence, husband of Mary Gray Tarrence of 59 years. He attended Mt Lebanon Presbyterian Church. He was a carpenter and retired from Louisville Gas & Electric. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Margie Tarrence Neighbors, Estill Neighbors, Nelson Neighbors, Pete Tarrence, Dewey Tarrence , Byron Tarrence.

Marlon Tarrence is survived by his wife Mary Tarrence of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews; four special nieces: Leeann Eversole of Bowling Green, Diana Hamlett of Bowling Green, Debbie Gill of Bowling Green and Becky Burns of Bowling Green;

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 11a.m. with Bro. Patrick Napier officiating. Burial will follow in Noah Johnson Cemetery.
