Marjorie Dean Salley Toms

Marjorie Dean  Salley Toms, age 81 of Park City, lifelong partner of Robert L. “Wimpy” Toms,  passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at her residence. She was born  December 9, 1932  to the late Sylvester and Nell May Myers Salley of Kyrock.  She joined in Heaven with her  mother, Nell and  father, Sylvester,  precious daughter, Beverly Jean Gillon and brother, James Salley.

Marjorie  Dean was a bookkeeper for Toms Shell Service , homemaker, member Park City Fire Dept. Women’s Auxillary  and  member of Park City United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and was on the Administrative Council .

Marjorie Dean is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert L. “Wimpy” Toms of Park City; one son, Robbie Toms and wife Teresa of Park City; six grandchildren, Lee Ann Gillon Daugherty and husband Patrick of Morgantown, Col. Eddie Gillon and wife Amy of Arlington, VA, Deborah Gillon Burks and husband Eddie of Glasgow, Amanda Gillon McCord and husband Scott of Park City and  Casey Toms Parker and husband Tommy and Dawn Toms Smith and husband Steven  both of Glasgow; fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Albert “Raleigh” Salley and wife Leola and Clyde  Salley and wife Lou Ira both of Park City; two sisters, Barbara Clark and husband Sam of Louisville and Judy Wallace of Park City.

Visitation will be  Saturday,  February 1,  2014 from  11:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday,  February 2, 2014  from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel.   Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Sunday,  February  2, 2014 at Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
