Marie L. Snodgrass, 92, of LeRoy, IL, passed away at 2:19 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Private graveside services will be held at Hopewell Cemetery in Downs, IL. Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, IL is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Cancer Center, 407 E. Vernon Avenue, Normal, IL 61761.

She was born February 4, 1924 in Morgantown, KY, daughter of Leora Jones Logsdon. She married James Snodgrass on December 14, 1942 in Flener, KY. They were married for 59 years before he preceded her in death on June 26, 2002. She was also preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are her son, Will (Kathy) Snodgrass of LeRoy, IL; two daughters, Brenda (Robert) Bauer of Clifton Hills, MO and Sandra Munsell of LeRoy, IL; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Alice (Bennett) Dunn of Florida and Hazel Wright of Missouri.

Marie enjoyed many years working for Eureka Williams before her retirement. She loved antiquing, quilting, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
