Margaret M. Engler, age 81, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at her residence on Coal Road in Morgantown, KY. Born on Saturday, September 18, 1943, in Belton, KY, Margaret's life was a tapestry of cherished moments and enduring relationships.

Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Henry Thurman "Buck" and Majorie McPherson Morgan. Her journey through life was shared with her devoted husband, Eugene Engler, who preceded her in death, as did her son Mark Grady Proctor, her brothers Jackie, Jerry, and Leland "Todd" Morgan, and her sister Jenny Drake. Her legacy continues through her loving daughter Amanda Anderson; her sons Allen and Joey Proctor; her grandsons Dustin Anderson, Mark Seth Proctor, and Quintin Phelps; and her siblings Freda Clark (David), Barbara Woosley (Doc), Billy Morgan, and Mack Morgan (Sheila), who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Margaret's life was marked by her unwavering kindness and intelligence. She had a passion for reading that was only matched by her enthusiasm for UK Basketball. Above all, Margaret cherished the time she spent with her family, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 12:00pm with Bro. Brian Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 10:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
