Margaret Hatfield Reneer, 80, of  Morgantown, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016, at her residence. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. on July 25, 1936, to the late John and Stacie McIntosh Hatfield.  She was a member of  Woodbury Baptist Church, retired after working  38 years at G.E.  Margaret enjoyed playing the organ and piano, listening to gospel and country music. She also loved cooking and reading her Bible.  She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Anna Basham, brothers Johnny Hatfield, Tommy Hatfield,  Butch Phelps and Sherman Hatfield; sisters Elounda Davis and Anna Boreman.

Mrs. Reneer is survived by husband of 54 years Clarence Reneer of Morgantown, son Curtis Ray Peak and wife Debbie of Georgia; grandchildren Kurtis Ray Peak and wife Karrie of Morgantown, Amber Dickinson and husband Duane of Virginia, Amanda Hester and husband Terry of Florida, and Sierra Basham of Morgantown; great-grandchildren Madison and Lilly Peak, Avalynn Dickinson and twin siblings due in April, Terin, Paige, Abbie Hester; brothers WD and Cecil Hatfield, Otis Phelps; sister Geraldine Cecil; several nieces and nephews.

 Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, October 22 at 1 pm. with Bro. Murl Gray officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hill Haven Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am- until the time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
