Madeline Leach James

Madeline Leach James, 92, of Cromwell, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, Kentucky.  She was an Ohio County, Kentucky native, daughter of the late George and Golda Smith Leach, and wife of the late Henry H. "Hutt" James. Madeline Leach Jones was a member of Morgantown Church of Christ and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two daughters:  Mary Beth James and Sue James Cook ;and one grandson, Phillip Cook.

Madeline Leach James is survived by son John James and wife Bonnie of Eddyville, Kentucky; grandsons Jim Sanders and wife Barbara of Hartford, Kentucky; and Chrs Cook and wife Cydnee of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; granddaughters Pat Ashby and husband Jeff of Hartford, Kentucky; Lesia Cook of Cromwell, Kentucky; and Melanie Wilhelm and husband Eric of Wisconsin; 14 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Sunday, May 13, at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Mike Daugherty officiating. Burial will be in the Green River Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturay, May 12, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 noon until funeral time at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
