Mable Johnson, 83, of Indianapolis, IN., passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018, at Prairie Lakes Nursing Home in Noblesville, IN.  She was born in Butler County on May 9, 1935, to the late Clyde Johnson and Julie Lindsey Johnson.  Mable was a member of Green Valley Church of Christ.  Retired from a nursing facility as a CNA.   She was preceded in death by parents and brother J.C. Johnson.
 
Mable is survived by a daughter Shirley Johnson of Indianapolis, IN.  Grandson Liam Showman of Indianapolis, IN.  Brother Charles Johnson of Morgantown. Sister Demple Johnson, half-sister Effie Smith and half-brother Vernon Johnson all of Indianapolis, IN.
 
Visitation will begin at Smith Funeral Home on Monday, September 17, 2018, at  8 am until time of funeral service at 12 pm.   Burial will follow in the Peyton Phelps Cemetery.
