Loveina Faye West, 79 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday December 19, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Loveina was born on Sunday June 7, 1936 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Samuel and Ruthie Jones Cardwell and wife of the late James Edward West. She was a member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church where she attended WMS, previous volunteer as a election officer at the Leonard Oak precinct for several years and retired from Kanes Manufacturing, . Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one grandson Josh Phelps and several brothers and two sisters.
Loveina Faye West is survived by five daughters Charlotte Proctor husband Glenn of Morgantown, Ky., Pam Martin husband Jewel of Morgantown, Ky., Darlene Shutes husband Greg of Bowling Green, Ky., Tammy Trapp husband Rick of Bowling Green, Ky. and Karen Phelps husband J.D. of Jetson, Ky.; one son Chris West of Morgantown, Ky.; one sister Corene Cox of Louisville, Ky.; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday December 22, 2015 at 12:00pm with Bro. Jewel Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Ridgeview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday December 21, 2015 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Tuesday 8:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
