Louise W. Arnold

Louise W. Arnold, 91 died Saturday December 8, 2012 at Myrtle Beach Manor, SC. Born on September 2, 1921, near Morgantown, Ky. she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Grace Wester Arnold. She was also preceded in death by her husband Warren Arnold; two sons Anthony W. and Joseph E. Williams; and two brothers William A. and Elmo Arnold.

She was Godly woman who read her Bible and devotions daily and was a member of Parkland Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky.

Mrs. Arnold spent most of her adult life in Florida where she worked in the Emergency Dept. at Tampa General Hospital, in a doctors office and in food services for tech Veteran's Administration. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and quilting. Many family members and friends treasure the homemade quilts she made for them. During the eight years she lived in Louisville, Ky., she made many baby quilts for Kosair Childrens Hospital.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by her daughters Brenda S. Porte of N. Myrtle Beach SC, Linda A. Avery (Joe) of AZ; brother Darrel Arnold (Libby) of Louisville, Ky.; sister in law Norma Arnold of Columbus, IN; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.

A short graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery on Silver City Huntsville Road, near Morgantown, Ky. on April 21, 2013 at 1:30 CST. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
