Louise Cardwell Mayhugh, age 84 of Smiths Grove, KY formerly of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at her residence. Louise was born Friday, August 12, 1938 in Butler Co., KY to the union of the late Ancil and Geneva Howard Cardwell. She was a retired Hairdresser and volunteered at the Morgantown Mission. Louise was artistic and enjoyed painting, decorating, cooking, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Other than her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Herman D. Mayhugh, one daughter, Jennifer Jo Mayhugh, one brother, Tommy Cardwell and one sister, Sonja Flener.

Louise is survived by one daughter, Lecia Priddy (Dennis) of Smiths Grove, KY, one son, Joey Mayhugh (Allison) of Fulshear, TX, three grandchildren; Joseph Priddy (Jessica) of Smiths Grove, KY, Rachel Donnelly (Arthur) of Smiths Grove, KY and Stuart Mayhugh of Fulshear, TX, four great-grandchildren; Jack and Ford Priddy and Walker and Holt Porter Donnelly, all of Smiths Grove, KY, two brothers; W.D. Cardwell (Gail) and Randal Cardwell (Teresa) both of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Union Cemetery with Tim Flener officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
