Lorene Burden, 88 of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green,  Ky. Lorene was born April 17, 1928, in Butler County,  Kentucky to the late Shirley and Myrtle Romans Deweese and wife of the late James Burden. She attended Grace Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Ky. and was retired from Fruit of the Loom. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Wallace Deweese.
Lorene Burden is survived by three daughters Carolyn Morehead of Bowling Green, Ky., Beverly “Gail” Givens of Bowling Green, Ky. and Faye Ooten of Bowling Green, KY.; one son Larry Burden and wife Betty of Rockfield, Ky.; seven grandchildren Wes, Nick, Jeremy,Angie, Kimberly, Sallie and Clint; 10 great grandchildren Kaiya, Maddy, Kylee, Ashton, Gracie, Arabella, Brody, Payton, Bryce Grace and Baylee Mae; two great grandchildren Preston and Skyler; one sister Irene Phelps of Morgantown, Ky. ; one brother Glendall Deweese and wife Betty of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, July 29, 2016, at 11:00 am with Bro. Marvin Carson officiating.

Burial will be in the Noah Johnson Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am until funeral time at 11:00 am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
