Lonell Mae Pierson Smith, 76 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Thursday June 21, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Lonell was born May 30, 1942 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Veachel and Evelyn Graham Pierson and wife of the late Bobby Gene Smith. She was a homemaker and other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one brother Bill Pierson.

Lonell Mae Pierson Smith is survived by five daughters Judy Lunsford of McQuady, KY, Wanda Brown and husband Johnny of Caneyville, KY, Debbie Brown and husband Sonny of Clay, KY, Teri Brown and husband Lester of Morgantown, KY and Lisa Brown and husband Tommy of Beaver Dam, KY; one son Johnny Smith and wife Sonia of Quality, KY; one brother Glen Thompson of Indiana; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday June 25, 2018 at 12:00pm with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 24, 2018 from 11:00am -8:00pm and Monday 8:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
